QM: the file cannot be recognized as 1 minute bar

Hello,

I use ASCII mapped files (1 tick resolution) for my real time charting. I can always easily export 1 tick resolution data from QM.

But now I wanted to export these data in 1 minute resolution. And got a dialogue message: the file cannot be recognized as 1 minute bar as attached in the screenshot.

Could someone please help and tell me how I can make 1 minute data exported out of 1 tick data?

Hi Tresor,

Data stored in the database as ticks can only be exported as ticks. Data stored in minutes can only be exported in minutes. The same goes for importing.

But you don't really need to export/import tick data as minutes. Because when it comes to charting, minute charts can be created from tick data.
