Currently I have a few different workspaces - all using EOD metastock data
01_SPI200.wsp (has 3 charts of the SPI 200 futures - symbol linked)
02_Nikkei.wsp (has 3 charts of the SGX Nikkei futures - symbol linked)
03_SP500.wsp (has 3 charts of the SP 500 futures - symbol linked)
If I symbol link all 3 with the red colour - the problem is the symbol linking is program wide
Eg If I open the Nikkei (symbol linked red) Then open the Sp500 (symbol linked red) ---> all my SP500 charts change to Nikkei charts
I know there are 14 different colours but I have more than 20+ stocks and futures I look at.
Is it possible to get an option built in where I can select symbol linking to either program wide (as it is currently) or workspace specific)
Regards,
Paul
option for symbol linking

Hi Marina,
Thanks for looking into this. I understand if it the types of symbol linking I mentioned would be too hard to implement.
When it comes design time, maybe in addition to more colours -
could it be possible to type in positive integers rather than select a colour. That way it would easier to see - rather than trying to tell the difference visually between "Sand Yellow" or "Lemon" or "Paste Yellow"
Regards,
Paul
