Scaling Issue

Postby iso » 06 Mar 2009

Hello,

I have the margins of the chart set to 5%. When price makes a new high or low off the chart, the chart does not keep the margins. See attached.

Thanks

Please post the version of MC that you are using, when you have the problem.

I'm using V5 Beta4. I have noticed this in previous versions also.

Thanks

Check scaling of the data, should be scaled to screen I think.

Hello iso,

This might happen when you change the vertical scale using a mouse, I think.

By changing the vertical scale with the mouse (holding mouse button on the vertical scale, then move up/down, and release), you basically override any scaling preferences the for vertical axis.

To revert back to your scaling settings just click on the green refresh button in the toolbar. Please try and see if you get the result you want.
Cheers,
Pavel

I thought it might be that at first but I made sure that the price scale was on auto. So I ruled that out.......

The scaling issue is partially reproduced. We will be grateful if you give us more information. We’ve noticed that sometimes the lower margin in not maintained as 5%.
