MC doesn’t print bars without volume.

MC doesn’t print bars without volume. Did anybody observe the same problem?
MC Version 5.0 Beta 6 (Build 2258)

Don't understand what do you mean by " Print bars without volume"

Please can you provide sample code.

Let say, chart resolution is 1 min. but during that time there was no trade so volume in the bar is 0. MC doesn’t plot that “empty” bar. As I understand if resolution is 1 min so there should be a bar that shows 1 min time.

We don't print empty bars, because we don't see a reason why we should do it.

I think, the reason is one. Charting should portray an action in the market as realistic as possible. In a time resolution chart 1 bar means 1 unit time, point and figure is different or tick chart.
Thank you, Andrew, I love MC5. Your explanation just revealed strange behavior of my system.

Go to Format Window

look under X-Time Scale

there is an option to Show Empty Periods.

look under X-Time Scale
there is an option to Show Empty Periods.
It dosen't work for me.

ok, I think that's for Saturdays and Sundays.

Hello,

Show Empty Periods will only work if you have several data series within the same chart window. However, there is a workaround: you can plot two identical data series and enable Show Empty Periods.
