IB current day bar data

I have noticed that when loading daily data from IB like NQ, you get day history but not the current day bar (the high and low).

You get history for everything prior to today and for today it starts ploting current price.


It does not load up the current high and low bar. So if the day has started and you load up a daily chart, for current day it will start bar at curent price (the time you asked for daily data)

IB provides static daily data so the current bar canot be updated and must be built from ticks.
Such a case wasn't considered at design stage and so we'll have to develop a workaround - this has been included in priority tasks.
