Canadian Economic data (historical and forecast).
The data is expensive (Shouldn't forecasts be free? :)), but who cares...
if you need Canadian data you can get it here:

      http://ratedata.gaincapital.com
      FX-Tick data

      or

      http://global.fxdd.com/de/mt1m-data.html
import it to MT4 and convert/export it to .csv
You have to use the new version of Excel and not OpenOffice since the old Excel and OO have the limitation of 65k lines. In this way you get M1 data which you ask for.

Well the tick data from gaincapital is less complicated since you can already download it on csv format and it goes back to the year 2000.

      Here is a huge collection:

      http://forexforums.dailyfx.com/free-str ... -data.html

Once unzipped, the data may be imported directly.

It is free, and (at lease the majors are) of reasonable quality.

Thank you for contacting the programming services department at FXCM. Regarding your inquiry, we can offer you data through an application that will pull it directly from our servers. The application called Historical Data Downloader offers data in all time frames, most except tick go back to about 10 years. Tick data is only available for the last 3 years for most currency pairs. This software is available for clients for a fee of $600. Please let me know if you are interested in having it.
