TS Diagnostic Symbols == BYT , == CPA, == CPU, ==

Postby Chi-Yuan Shih » 11 Jun 2010

TS offers Diagnostic Symbols. They are measurement symbols which can be used to diagnose data transfer quality.

Does Multicharts offer similar functions ?
Is that possible to use "== cpu" as a dummy data source in Multicharts for real time test on weekends ?

Dear Chi-Yuan Shih,

Yes, it is possible to use TS Diagnostic Symbols == BYT , == CPA and == CPU in MultiCharts.

You should add these symbol manually in the Quote Manager with exactly the same settings as in TS and plot tick charts.

This is a perfect item for the MC efficiency thread at the top (the sticky one).

I think what the original poster is asking is how to get Multicharts to generate these diagnostic symbols internal to MC, regardless of the source of the data feed. That is, you shouldn't have to rely on TS data in order to get the a CPU usage reading on your installation of MC.

Dear tekram,

Threre are no such functions within MultiCharts. However, TS Diagnostic Symbols can be used in MultiCharts.
