Yes, that's a welcome utility. It should also idisplay a comprehensive status message of the order being submitted to TWS (or other broker interface) so it can be tracked for problems like the one discussed here:

1
Is it possible to have allert if something is going bad in a subaccount?

I mean:

an allert like audio... when an order must be filled on all accounts while this not appened in 2 or 3.

The allert should show also which of them doesn't work and why.
(disconnection, server down, price limit out of range...., )

2

It will be possible to have many Trackers from master to sub accounts?

This should be like this:
from master trackers i could swith on a costumer account, so i could stamp
or export in excel what happened in a day of trading.
i could watch if something go wrong..
ecc....

3
what are the improvement from omega2000 or TS or NT?

First of all: Thanks for this very useful feature which I was waiting a long time for.
I do not autotrade with MC but have strategies running on it in realtime.

How can I see the orders of these strategies in Position Tracker when I am not connected to a broker?

Thanks a lot.

1. It would be nice to have an option for the Order and Position Tracker to be DOCKABLE to the bottom, just like (i) Terminal can be docked to the bottom in MT4 or (ii) Data Window can be docked to the side of MC.

2. Also the columns should be sortable, e.g. one might want to sort the items by broker, profit, quantity, instrument, resolution, etc.

+1 for a dockable tracker window to make it always viewable. Also, to save screen-space it'd be nice to be able to hide all window titles like in TS, not just chart window titles.

Its possible to include a table with the actual account balance?
If MC connected with MBT, I have no chance to check the balance...

Dear Sirs,

1
Is it possible to have allert if something is going bad in a subaccount?
Unfortunalely this is not possible.
2

Could you please explain a little bit more? To switch order tracker to another account and get information on this account, while someone else is trading on it, is not possible.
what are the improvement from omega2000 or TS or NT?
We have never asked ourselves this question. Order tracker is quite a basic tool. It is generally similar in all applications.

How can I see the orders of these strategies in Position Tracker when I am not connected to a broker?
You cannot do that if you are not connected to the broker.

It will be added in the near future.

Good to hear. Also, can I suggest that the Strategy Positions tab shows broker position when the strategy is flat. I had a situation today when a position I thought had been exited was in fact still open at IB. It would be nice to be able to check this without having to switch to TWS every time.

Dear brendanh,

In the next version of order position tracker an Account Positions tab will be added. So you won't have to switch to TWS every time.

An improvement, but it won't tell us at-a-glance (on the Strategy Positions tab) whether our flat chart positions are flat in the real world. Probably best to make it an option ("Show zero positions") in case people don't want the screen clutter.

Dear brendanh,

Could you please precise what is the purpose of such implementation? In the Account Positions tab you will see your position on a broker and will know if it is flat or not.

Dear brendanh,

Could you please precise what is the purpose of such implementation? In the Account Positions tab you will see your position on a broker and will know if it is flat or not.
Currently the Strategy Positions tab only contains active positions, so the Broker Position and Position Match columns are only populated when there is a chart position. This is financially dangerous. There are situations such as I experienced last week, when a chart position has exited, so the position dissappears from Strategy Positions, but the broker position has not for some reason (eg Internet, power, software crash, broker systems failure, human error, etc). I would not know this unless I check my broker software each time a chart position is exited. You are suggesting I can check a new Account Positions tab each time a chart position is exited, and look through the list of the instruments in my broker account to check it has exited. This is an improvement, but in addition I am suggestiing that flat positions will (optionally) continue to be displayed on the Strategy Positions tab thereby allowing the user to see at-a-glance whether their recently exited chart postions have been exited in the real world.

In MC I am primarily concerned with the instruments I trade through MC, having a list of all my broker positions in the Account Positions tab is less important than having summary information about the positions traded through MC on the Strategy Positions tab. If there are many broker positions, checking after each exit will take longer than using the Strategy Positions tab. This is how TS's Strategy Positions tab works. Unlike TS, MC automation is not integrated into a single software platform, so it is even more important than in TS to be confident that chart positions are being matched in the real world.

Wouldn't it be much simpler if just TSS downloaded a MT4 demo or PT Multistation demo and copied the solutions of both softwares? There are separate tabs for:
(i) Trades: current trades with accurate profit / loss on a given postion real-time + orders not yet executed
(ii) Account History: historical trades with profit / loss.

regards

Yet another qute example of order and position tracking: http://www.tradevec.com/KB/Knowledgebas ... 50050.aspx

There are separate tabs for:
- open positions
- active orders
- cancelled orders
- rejected orders
- orders history
- separate tabs for multiple brokers if you use multiple brokers via one platform
- messages from broker

how to clean the history in order and position tracker?

Order and position tracker s a great feature! Thank you for that.
One thing that might be implemented: If I have two (or more) different strategies running on the same symbol the positions match is false (because strategy position is unequal to broker position). Ideally there would be a possibility to sum up all strategy positions for each symbol.

how to clean the history in order and position tracker?
Dear Brian,

You can clean the history if you delete the contents of the following folder:

%AllUsersProfile%\TS Support\MultiCharts\TradingCenter\Storage\

Dear Joogen,

This is a good idea indeed. We will certainly implement it in the future.

No doubt TradeVec's Order Tracker in is the best one I ever saw in any of trading applications (with reservations in point 2 explained in the picture).

Really someone from MC should download TradeVec trial and play around with it for a few minutes.

This feature + other minor add-ons to the tracker can be voted and discussed in Project Management https://www.multicharts.com/pm/viewissu ... e_no=MC-67
