Hi,
I wonder if someone can help. I want to know if there is already a function in Multicharts 5.5 or can it be coded to achieve the following in the scanner.
Stocks taking greater than 100% of average daily volume and be able to get an alert when that is happening.
When a stock hits a certain price level , be able to get an alert. Not a trend line or similar, just price in the scanner.
I've attached a screen shot of http://www.quotetracker.com to hopefully help explain what I am after.
Alternatively if anyone has a workspace that they have configured and would like to share, I would be very grateful.

you can program it to do any analysis you want.
You don't have to depend on a built-in function that might not suite your needs.
Here's something quick I whipped up...
you can add more features to this basic framework:
e.g. sound alert, pop up message, email, percentage of average volume, etc.,
enjoy...
