Hello everyone,
I have a few questions
1. What is the format of the csv file for the Import Instrument List feature of the Portfolio Backtester?
2. In this format, is is possible to also add Instruments for Data2, Data3, Data4 ...?
3. Is it also possible to specify the resolution (Day/Week/Month) of the Instrument you import via the csv file ?

Re: Backtester - Import Instrument List
Dear Laurent,
Could you please be more precise? There is no Import Instrument List feature in Portfolio Backtester. There is one in Quote Manager. There is no any special format, it should be a coma separated file with the list of symbol names, exchanges and other settings (optional).

Re: Backtester - Import Instrument List
Hmm there is one in my version.
1. Launch MultiCharts Portfolio Backtester,
2. In the Porfolio Tree, right click on Instruments (Strategy 1 for example)
3. Import Instrument List
Do you want a screenshot?

Re: Backtester - Import Instrument List
Dear Laurent,
Indeed, there is Import Instrument List option in Portfolio Backtester. Sorry for the confusion.
There is no any special format, it should be a coma separated file with the list of symbol names. All symbols in the list are imported as Data1 instruments and there is no way to specify the resolution.
If you need multiple data series import with different resolutions, please post a feature request in Project Management.
