When Transact will be available?

Just wondering if Transact will be added to the broker list

Transact and their introducing brokers were on the list of supported brokers a few years ago.

They were deleted because their data feed (both historic for backfill and real-time) was fraudulent: massively filtered data with unreliable price and volume.

From what I know, they are homestretch with a new agreement
Now their data is unfiltered, and more fast than zenfire

Did you run tests to confirm their data is unfiltered or are you just repeating their marketing claims?

Under Properties set Price Delivery in Mode 1 and Price Type from tick level to all level, uncheck UI Updates and Low Badwidth

After this judge for yourself
Not enough info to judge.

A year back I tested Transact data feed based on this broker's claim of delivering unfiltered ticks. After I run the tests their claim turned out to be untrue.

You can use SC and Ensign to test their claim. Focus on one instrument: make 60 sec, 1 minute, 5 minute, 10 minute chart and compare the volumes between the two charting packages. Write down volume readings for each time interval (bar) in Excel for 24 hours (you will have 1440 readings for 1 min chart).

The sum of your volume readings accross all timeframes and accross both platforms should be the same on each bar type + they should be the same as the official data by CME.

Next day erase the data from previous day to see if historic data (used for backfill) shows the same volume on the exact same time intervals (bars).

I am 99% sure that your post-experiment thesis will be: Transact filters ticks heavily.

We should be connected with Transact once again soon. They are developing the connection to our API on their end, and once they are finished, users should be able to connect.

Transact is not mentioned in your list of supported data feeds. Does MC now support both the data feed from Transact and trading via their brokerage?

We have not announced this connection officially. As I understand there are still a few technical issues with the installation, plus we didn't build this connection - they did. If we build it into our installer, we would have to test it and support it - that has not yet been decided when and if that will happen. But it's available on Transact's responsibility from their website.

I called Transact abut this and basically got blown off in a fairly polite way. The message was: We don't really know if it works, so please talk to your broker at Infinity. Maybe he will know if this is really available for you to use. It seems neither MC nor Transact actually know what is going on. Perhaps MC stuff could clarify the matter? Transact data is used by many futures traders and is very appropriate to make available to the MC users.

As I mentioned above, go to their site - http://www.transactfutures.com/. You will see a big message that says:

"Now offering MultiCharts charting package
Now Offering MultiCharts charting package as an addition to our TransActAT front end. MultiCharts is a feature rich charting package designed to give traders an edge in making their trading decisions.
MultiCharts features include:

Integration with our lightning fast data feed
Technical Analysis
Strategy Trading
Loads of customizable studies and a broad range of drawing tools
And much more!!
"
"For more info on MultiCharts, call us at 877-TRADE-03 (877-872-3303) or email us at sales@transactfutures.com"

You should follow those instructions. If you get blown off after following instructions from their website, you should ask them - why am I getting blown off if it's written on your site?

The excerpt above clearly states that TransAct data is available in MC - TransAct should give you the plugin. We simply don't have it.

Stan,

I have seen the advertisement and spoke with Transact after it appeared on their web site. Whatever your impressions may be regarding the status of Transact data feed availability, I as an interested customer received the response mentioned in my previous post. The bottomline is both parties (MC and Transact) appear to be unable to provide a specific status update or timeline for availabiliy of the Transact data feed for MC users.

According to the information we have-Transact is developing the broker connection.
We have not heard any updates from them for a while.
