It is possible (with the full version of MultiCharts) to apply calculations on data like I can with Excel:
-logarithmic returns
-spread between several logarithmic returns
-calculating rolling standard deviation
-multiplication, subscription between different securities...
And then to plot the result and use it to trigger the buy/sale signal?

In PowerLanguage editor you can use mathematical formulas in your script.
You can have different securities on one chart for calculation or you can use the data from different charts with the help of Global Variables.
Your calculation results can be plotted or used in the script for generating orders.
