Hi,
I am facing the following issues on many 1-min charts.
When the countdown timer arrive at 0s, a new bar is supposed to begin.
However, this does not happen.
On the contrary, the current bar continues to evolve according to the change of price (and there is no countdown timer displayed any more).
Then 15s after (so: 15s after the timer arrived at 0s), a new bar suddenly begins, and the timer immediately begins at 45s (instead of 60s).
In other words, there is a 15s time difference on my 1-min charts between the change of bars and the countdown timer.
For instance, this is currently happening on my computer on:
future DAX September 2012 1min (data from DTN IQFeed: XGU12)
FOREX EUR.USD 1min (data from LMAX)
But this is working correctly for
FOREX GBP.USD 1min (data from Interactive Brokers)
How can I do to have the countdown timer in sync with the opening of a new bar?
Thanks in advance,
Nicolas

Hello Nicolas,
You need to synchronize your PC clock with Internet time when MultiCharts and all of its applications are closed.

Re: problem with countdown timer (not in sync with new bar)
Hi Henry,
Thanks for your message.
My computer is automatically synchronized with Internet Time.
But, anyway, I have closed all MultiCharts applications. Then manually synchronized the computer and Internet Time. Then opened MultiCharts again.
Unfortunately, the problem is still here: countdown reaches 0s and disappears, but the new bar only begins 15s after (by mentioning 45s).

Which Internet Time Server are you syncing with? Try time.windows.com
Re: problem with countdown timer (not in sync with new bar)
Yes, it is this one.
I have repeated the same process as above:
- close all MultiCharts applications
- manually synchronize the computer and Internet Time
- open MultiCharts again.
Now, it works.
When the countdown timer is at 0s, a new bar begins.
Problem seems solved.
Thanks for your help.
