Combining Manual with Auto trading ?

Hi,
Can anyone pls share or point to in the forum an example of a strategy that has entry exit logic that combines manual and auto-trading .
There is some explanation on the Wiki but it's not clear what exactly the !Broker to Stragegy synchronizer achieve ? If my logic in the auto strategy looks at marketposition variable then does the synchronizer make it 'right' after the market position has changed outside the strategy because of manual trades, that auto-trading strategy obviously doesn't know of ?
I'd greatly appreciate any help and pointers regarding this. Thanks in advance
