Postby zumthor » 15 Jul 2012

Hello zumthor,

Have you added the instrument manually or from the data source?
Please add the symbols from the data source.
In the QuoteManager please go to Instrument tab->Add symbol->From data source-> OEC.

In Multicharts please go to File tab->Preferences->Data server mode
Make sure you are in online mode, "download missing historical data" is enabled.

Now plot a new chart-are you able to get data on the chart?

Hi

I followed all the steps that you have mentioned and eventually the data came through, but there was a really long lag, 1-2 hours, at first I thought the market might not yet be open, but i checked that it was definitely open.

Hello zumthor,

Make sure you are subscrined to non-delayed forex data.
Then make sure that your PC timezone and clock are correct.
Also check the instrument session settings in QuoteManager->Edit Symbol->Sessions tab.
You can try to plot the chart with 24/7 session template (MultiCharts->Format->Instrument->Settings tab).

If this solution didn't help and you still have the issue-please come to our live chat Monday-Friday 6:30 am - 4 pm EST. We will do our best to help you.
