Importing MB tick data

Postby MAtricks » 22 Oct 2012

I have data from other providers, but I'd like to import data from my broker, MB Trading. They supply the last few years back on their site.

Attached is a sample of what they give us. It will not work for me with MC. Any explanations?

They provide it in a .csv file and I'm unable to upload that onto here so I changed it to a .txt file which shouldn't change anything about the importing process.

Hello MAtricks,

Date and time should be comma separated. Milliseconds timestamp is not currently supported, time values should be without it.
The data should be like that:
AUD/CAD,2012-10-18, 17:02:16,1.0207,1.02133

Thank you for the reply and answer.

So all of the data that they provide will not work?

MAtricks, the data will work if you make the necessary changes.

place a comma in 12 years of 1 tick data? That's millions of commas :)

I was unaware of this feature. While I know this isn't your obligation to help me with Excel, could you give me a quick description of how to do this?

Much appreciated!
