What would be a proper ascii tick forex file format ?

Postby ritonlajoie » 10 Dec 2012

Hi !
I can import minute ascii file in Multicharts, but I wonder what would be an example of tick data that I could import ?
How is the file format ? Can you provide a 2/3 lines example of file ?

Thanks

Hello ritonlajoie,

"Date","Time","Price","Volume" are the necessary fields for tick data
"Date","Time","Open", "High", "Low", "Close", "Volume" are the necessary fields for minute data
"Date","Open", "High", "Low", "Close", "Volume" are the necessary fields for daily data
Please find the tick data sample attached.
