XML RINA Files

Postby austij » 25 Dec 2012

How do I read the XML RINA strategy performance files? I see some references to Portfolio Evaluator, but no reference where to find it. Are there other programs? I've had the same problem as others opening in Internet Explorer: it uses up the memory until it crashes. I also hava full version of MS Office, including Excel, and when I try to save as Excel file, it just sits there maxing out the CPU indefinitely. Any help would be much appreciated! Basically, I just want to get certain data from the reports and be able to copy it and past it into Excel.

Thanks again!

Which version of Windows, MultiCharts, and Office do you have?
How much memory is in your computer? What is the CPU?

MC64 Version 8, Office 2007, Windows XP 64 Professional, 8 GB RAM
Should be more than plenty of resources for this type of task.

Hello austij,

Rina Portfolio Evaluator is the only application that can read reports saved in RINA format.
You can easily find it if you search for it over the Internet.

Thanks Henry. Any idea why the CPU maxes out when I try to save as Excel?

Which exact processes are loading the CPU?

It would be nice if we could store the results and then reload them into the MC.NET viewer, i.e., from the XML instead of Excel.
