Hello,

IB recently introduced chinese currency in IDEALPRO. Those can be seen and charted inside TWS but no connection to quote manager is made. Symbols can be added via the quote manager but there is no data flowing - message in the status line is no data - is there a need for an updated configuration file for IB datafeed or are there any tricks no get the data flowing?

Symbol Description is CNH CNH/EUR Cash EUR.CNH however in the event log there is reference to USD.

I am using MultiCharts64 Version 8.0 Release (Build 5622).

Hello Walter,

Did you add the symbol through symbol lookup without changing its description?

Hello Walter,

Did you add the symbol through symbol lookup without changing its description?
Yes - I did it through symbol lookup with no additional action and got these irritating results.

The issue is fixed and it will be implemented in next version of MultiCharts. There is also a hot fix:
  1. Please download the updater: for MC 32 bit or 64 bit.
  2. Install the updater as it is described in the instruction.
