Hello,
how can I delete the two demo default workspaces in prebuilt directory? If I renamed it the MC installer copied the two demo default workspaces again in the prebuilt directory.
prebuilt directory and Workspaces
Templ,
Here is an extract from MultiCharts Help.
"There is only one way to delete workspaces:
- Use the Windows Explorer or another program to delete a workspace file as a common Windows file.
Note. Open workspaces cannot be deleted. To delete a workspace you should close it.
Note. Deleting a workspace doesn't lead to deleting the data and studies."

Because I would like to choose the option "Open prebuilt workspaces" under Preferences / Workspace. Why do you need to make them prebuilt?
This option because I dont want load all from previous session and dont want to choose Open last active.
I would like to have e.g. 8 special workspaces as default and than want load if needed in the day other too.

Re: prebuilt directory and Workspaces
Hi,
I use Windows server 2008, but %userprofile%\Application Data\TS Support\MultiCharts\Prebuilt\ exist but it is not accessible.
only
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\TS Support\MultiCharts\
or
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\TS Support\MultiCharts\
Even if i create a Prebuilt folder inside them and put a workspace, there is nothing in "workspace prebuilt" in preferences menu.
Any idea ?
Regards

Re: prebuilt directory and Workspaces
Hi rondot samuel ws,
The right path to prebuild WorkSpaces can be found at Registry (Start -> Run -> Regedit)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TS Support\MultiCharts\Preferences
PrebuiltWSPath
Let me know if it is accessible.
Thank you
