Favorites Stock List

Postby Bulli » 15 Nov 2013

Hi,

Is there a way to create a favorite list of stocks and be able to move from one stock to the other only from this list?

For example, I have a portfolio of let´s say 10 stocks, each day I need to go through them one by one to see the progress on chart using a specific template.

I will make an example of 3 stock portfolio to make it clear: PETR4, VALE5, GGBR4
(these are the codes of three Brazilian companies)

I will open a workspace (already with a set of templates, indicators, etc.) saved with PETR4.

Now I want to see VALE5 and then to see GGBR4 without having to type the code for each one of them, using something like a button go to next stock or a shortcut to change to next stock in the list.

(same as we find in Metastock, I have been using Metastock since 1998 and moving to MultiCharts because it is a loooooooooooooot better than the latest Metastock in my opinion, and I miss this feature in MultiCharts).

Hello Bulli,

In order to achieve this goal you need to create a scanner window and a chart window.
Add the symbols you need to the scanner window, setup the chart the way you need it.
Then link the scanner and the chart with the help of the Instrument link.

That is a very nice idea, and very cool also.

Thanks, it works!
