Problem using TS data and charting volume
Problem using TS data and charting volume
I'm using the Real Time Market Scanner with a list of stocks/etfs and have it linked to a chart. In the chart I have price on the top and average volume in the bottom pane. Using TS data, I show no volume data even though in the Scanner window I show the correct Total Volume for the stock. When I change the data for the symbol to InteractiveBrokers, the volume data appears in the chart. This happens for all the symbols that I try to chart. I'm using TS ver 9.1.

Re: Problem using TS data and charting volume
Hello Tozwp,
This problem has been already fixed in MultiCharts 8.0 beta 1.
Here is the link for the updater that fixes this issue in MultiCharts 6 and 7:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27918922/MC_TS.zip
Here is how to install it:
Please close Multicharts and all its windows.
Check that all MC processes are ended in Task manager:
MultiCharts.exe
MessageCenter.exe
QuoteManager.exe
tsServer.exe
PLEditor.exe
StudyServer.exe
TradingServer.exe
atCenterServer.exe
TPserver.exe
Fixserver.exe
Unzip the archive into a new folder.
Then run the Updater.exe and click on Update.
if the update is installed correctly-the last line will say “Done”.
