What does it mean when it says "false" for position matching?

Positions Match – shows you if the strategy position and position at broker are the same. True (position at broker matches the strategy position) or False (position at broker does not match the strategy position) status

thanks, but what does it mean practically if it says false?

How is it possible that you are long/short in multicharts and long/short with your broker, say IB, but its says false?

Is it an error?

If you were currently long but had a sell order would this be "false"

When the strategy position and position at broker are the same Position match shows “True”.
It cannot show False if the values are the same.

It can say False if the position at the broker mismatch with the strategy position.
For example you are flat at the broker. Then when you start the auto trading you assign your position as long +1. In this case position match will be false.
