Multicharts and Interactive Brokers -two accounts

I am using MC with IB and during my first day of live systematic trading, my strategy is executing trades against my markets as planned..... but it is using the wrong account, even though i have my futures Uxxbbxx account specified under broker profiles, its using Uyyxxyy. Because i do not have futures permission for my stock trading account (Uyyxxyy), the orders are being declined, two of them were bloody nice trades too! Grrr.

I have the right account specified in IB on the API tab.

I also have my futures account specified under Fin. Advisor Settings, Single Account Allocation.

I am using TWS 921.5
MC version 7.4(4953)

It seems that the settings also need to be filled in on the individual chart as well....Not just from the main menu.

You must specify the account on EACH strategy.

ie. even on the same chart, you can have different strategies trading at different accounts.



Look under strategy properties.
