Who is the best broker for FX trading?
I have been using IB for some time, but they just seem to disconnect far too often leaving many orders unfilled and generally causing a lot of problems.
I'm looking for the broker with the least amount of disconnects as well as very tight spreads, any suggestions?

You should check your internet connection before blaming IB, or switching broker.

The ONLY time I have IB disconnect is at the normal "Reset" time of 12pm-12:30am est.
I agree with TJ, sounds like a bad internet connection, or your TWS, API, or Java need updating.
