It seems the new IQFeed client v4.9, not yet released, brings a lot of new features.
Is MC already testing this new client so when it's release to the public we will not be surprised with some connection problem?
According to their Tweet feed, it has more than 100 bugs fixes and enhancements.

IQfeed is going to perform testing with MultiCharts on their end prior to delivering the end version to users.
