Question regarding session indicator

Postby p3t3rjj » 25 Nov 2012

Hi All

I've been looking for an indicator to plot with vertical lines the start of trading sessions for trading forex. So basically London open, etc. Or at least an indicator that will plot a vertical line at a time I specify.

I've also been looking for an again range indicator, this plots the high and low of the session.

Attached are pics with examples of what I am looking for. Both indicators are plotted on the the same chart

Unfortunately my scripting skills are still weak, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

HI TJ

Thanks for the reply, but I did do some research before asking. The indicator you mention in another post only plots zig-zag lines between the time set...

Cool thanks TJ, I have a look again. There's not too much code, so should not take to long to guess where the histogram word goes.

Any ideas on the original request for session indicator, or Asian range indicator.

You can read the manual, or hire someone to program it for you.

Cool, thanks TJ. I'm a trader, not a programmer, so don't have the time to learn how to code properly. Will wait and see if there are any other responses on this site. Might have a look at big mikes, they mostly traders on there but a few can code as well.

Will let you know when I get the code, and will post here if the programmers permits.
