Has anyone used the new AvaTrade broker connection yet?
I just opened a demo account to have a look. Opening positions from DOM or chart trading works fine but when a position is closed the Order and Position Tracker still shows open P/L. So I logged in to the AvaTrade platform and there is a long and a short position open.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hello Geoff,
If there are positions open in AvaTrade platform then that is expected that you will see open positions in MultiCharts Order and Position Tracker as well.
1) What is your MultiCharts version and build number (Help tab->About MultiCharts)?
2) How do you close position exactly (send buy/sell orders, clшck Close position on chart trading panel, click X on position marker on the chart, right click in OPT open positions->Close position)?
3) What is the status of this order in Order and Position Tracker Orders tab?
4) Are there any error messages referring to this order in OPT Logs tab?
5) What symbols do you use?

2) I tried "Close" in DOM and also the same happens when stop or target is filled in strategy.
3) Position disappears from "Open Positions" but when I exit Multicharts it tells me I have open positions and orders.
4) No error message in log.
5) I tried GBPUSD, FTSE 100 and Corn before deciding continuing was pointless.
From what I can surmise the OCO is not closing the position but instead opening a new one in the opposite direction.

Geoff, hedging is not supported in MultiCharts. Please contact AvaTrade directly to disable hedging on your account and the problem you have will be resolved.
