Simple Scripting Language

Postby davewolfs » 25 Apr 2013

Any potential to add some sort of intermediate scripting language?

Basically would want the ability to access O,H,L,C volume data, run condition statements (if/end/else), filtering of time and obviously complicated indicators that have been written in C#.

Perhaps not necessary for SE version but definitely for full version. Language could start simple and be built up over time. Give users the ability to enter these scripts right from there charts as input to a specific kind of indicator rather than having to go through the entire power language editor.

Basically a very lightweight language that allows users to call into other indicators in the system.

It would make your software easier to use. Look at AB, Neoticker or Quantshare. All of them support this. There really is no reason why you cant enable a version that has power language supported with the ability to recognize .net plugins within power language itself.
