Importing via Ascii mapping
Hi I have 5 mins data and I import using Ascii mapping. When I change it to 1 day resolution, it will complain no data received. If I change back to 5 mins, it will show the data. So if we use Ascii mapping and have 5 mins data, we cannot use 1 day resolution?

Re: Importing via Ascii mapping
Hello maisatomai,
Using ASCII mapping symbol you can create the chart only using the resolution of the ASCII file.
If it is 1 minute then you can plot a minute chart.
If it is 1 day you can plot a daily chart resolution.
If it is 5 minute then you can only plot only a 5 minute chart.
If you want to build a daily bar out of 5 min data then you can add a Universal DDE instrument (QuoteManager->Instrument->Manually) and import your ASCII data into it.
