QM retrieving unavailable data

Hi,

If I try to load more data than is available at my data provider, QuoteManager will attempt and fail to download all data back to the first date regardless of the fact it is unavailable. For example, on eSignal, if I try to load minute data for the Emini S&P (ES #F) since 1997, only data since March 2007 is available. Yet QuoteManager will spend the next 20-30 minutes trying to download this, during which time my indicators and signal code do not run.

It would be better for MC to check the range of available data first and only attempt to download what is available. Or if no data is available on a period, stop trying to load earlier data.
