Monitoring MC automatic trading

Dear Multicharts,

I would like to build monitoring solution for automatic trading in Multicharts.
This means what i would like to be informed in cases of :

MC loose connection to broker
Trade was not filled
get every log entry from logs tab in MC
list of studys in AT mode.
list of portfolios in AT mode.
(everybody can suggest his one)


This is a minimum criteria for necessary monitorig solution. This list may grow in the future.

Can you give me advice how to obtain this info from study or log file (and how to decrypt it).
If there is now way to get this infos from a study/log in the moment, i will open feature request in the project management.

You can find example of the script to identify connection loss (if auto trading goes off = connection was lost) for MC 8.7 beta 2 and further versions here.

Trade was not filled

Please elaborate. What exactly is meant by "was not filled"? If an order is sent from script with X price, how to determine when it "was not filled"?

It is possible with .NET version of MultiCharts. Please leave such feature request for regular MC.

Send automatically, if any change occurs

Send via Strategy

Send via Strategy

We should be able to specify what information (all, or a few chosen one) PL should send.

Also, sending screenshots from charts is useful for monitoring. (of course not only for monitoring useful)
