Falling back on previous version  [SOLVED]

I have not been able to get the latest beta to work. It keeps on crashing. The QM won't load, etc.,

I decided to delete this beta and revert back to the previous beta.

Then I found out that my latest editing to my studies are all gone. Why is that?
