Hello,
I am trying to get the VP on an instrument that trades "extended hours" on a smaller time interval.
For example I need VP on ES on trading hours only (as the rest is meaningless to my trading style).
Do I need to code my own VP or is this possible with MC.NET ?

That is possible to create a custom session template to plot the time range you need.
Please go to MultiCharts->File->New->QuoteManager window->Tools->Session templates.
Then in MultiCharts go to Format->Instrument->Settings tab->select your session template in Session selector.
That is applicable for intraday resolutions. If your data provider does not provide daily bars - that can be also applied for daily bars for such data provider.
Once you have a custom session plotted on your chart - you can turn on the prebuilt volume profile for it.
