Is there a function to control the number of bars to be displayed in a window ?

Control the background color ?

If yes, where can i find more information about such functions ?

thanks

Hello,

The answer to both your questions is yes and there is no need to write any special codes for that.

1) You can control the number of bars you see at any given time by manipulating spacing between those. There is are special icons on the Control Bar (double red arrows)

2)You can change the background colour. Right-click anywhere in the chart window main area, go to Format Window->Background and you can choose whatever colour you need. Apart from that, as you will see you can change other components displayed in the chart window.

Thanks.... i know all that.

The reason i asked for easylanguage is because i would like to control all these programmatically without manual intervention..

If you could let me know if there are any means to do it via easylanguage that would be great !

thanks

I would like to do something similar too...

I would like the window to display 10 bars early in the trading day and 20 bars maybe in the afternoon...
Can i do this via easylanguage without resorting to manual means ?

thank you

At the moment there is no way to control these aspects through codes.
Manual settings have to be used.
