Hi there,
This is an easy one to produce. Open a single tick chart of an instrument. Add a higher time frame (lets say 5 minutes). Hide the single tick chart. Squash the bars up on the 5 minute so the bars are spaced 'normally'.
The opens and closes are almost indistinguishable. I can post a screen shot if you like but its very easy to re-produce.
Really the aspect ratio (the proportion) of the bars should remain the same when the series spacing is changed.
Cheers.
Bar Open and Close dispears.

Hi there,
This behaviour is not desired if the tick series is set to invisible. The width of the bars and open close should not change - only the space between bars should change.
It is quite common to want a tick series hidden in the background so you can get tick precision in your charts while still working with higher time bars.
Cheers,
Nick

OK thank's thats fare enough. However just because they have got it wrong dosent mean MC has to follow suit .
Could I put it as a feature request then? When you change bar spacing bar width does not change.
Thanks as alway,
Cheers
Nick.
P.S. I know some people use ADE and EL collections to get round this but that's a bit messy and adds a fare bit of overhead.
