QM's Edit Data grid UI problem

Postby 2haerim » 18 Sep 2007

When selecting multiple lines, for example, from 090600 to 091000,
I click and drag the number on the column 1 or use Ctrl/Shift key comibnation. Those 5 grid rows should be selected and colored blue in background. But, this is not always happening, but shows some erratic selection behaviour. Sometimes, only the column 1 numbers are shown pressed but no other columns are colored blue. Even worse, sometimes they are not clicked at all but I had to click a few more times to get them selected.

Anyway, my point is that the Edit Data window's grid record selection shows some erratic behaviour. I feel those erratic behaviours have some patterns, but not found it yet.

Records not being selected when they should be makes me annoying.

Please check.

Again, I found the pattern for this

Depending on the mouse click position, selection works differently.

Try click the column 1 in 3 different ways: For example, for record # 12345,

1) click near 1
2) click near 3 or 4
3) click empty area after 5

You will see how they react differently.

And please also allow to use Ctrl/Shift key combination

Having Ctrl/Shift keys combined with arrow keys may not be critical, but would be good to have it.

The cobination of Ctrl/Shift keys and mouse clicks does work.

However, there are some other cases of erratic highlighting behaviour, which as I mentioned we are going to fix.
