Refreshing chart by Ctrl+R does not plot data in QM

When refreshing a chart by pressing Ctrl+R, there can be 2 situations:
1) The data range requested are available from the data server.
2) The data range requested are not available from the data server.

Case 1) is ideal and no problem at all.

Case 2) has some issues: even though there are data in QM, MC does not use them when the data requested from the server is not available.

For example, if a data source provides only one day tick data, pressing Ctrl+R always plot just one day even though there are plenty of ticks have been collected for many days. Why not use them when no data from the server available?
