We really miss Bar Magnifier for backtesting custom futures. If that's not possible, then we should be able to create our own "virtual" instrument from code, but that's not possible either as far as I know.
All-in-all one of the most interesting backtesting feature of MC can't be used. Very frustrating.

True. But as a workaround until this feature is added, you could write an indicator that exports the custom future chart data to a file and then import that file into the QuoteManager as a continuous contract.

(I'm not saying it's a great workaround, since you'll need to update the QuoteManager symbol(s) manually, but then at least you can use custom futures data in backtesting).
