editor panels

Postby dtl-saw » 31 Aug 2013

In the powerlanguage editor all of the panels for "help", "studies", "errors", "output", "help contents" are not integrated with the main editor window but are floating undocked. How do I get these windows docked back into the main window.

Hello dtl-saw,

Please do the following:
1) Close PLEditor window.
2) Go to Windows Start menu-Run->regedit.exe
3) Go to the following path :
for 32bit MC: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TS Support\MultiCharts .Net\
for 64bit MC: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TS Support\MultiCharts .Net64\
4) In the registry tree please make a right click on the PLEditor editor folder and click Delete.
5) Start PLEditor now.

Hi,

I just saw that this is still an issue in the latest beta (8.8 r2).

Would it be possible to add a reset button within the PL.NET editor to do this if the problem is not going to be fixed? Thank you.

We are currently working on this issue. Once there is a solution - I will update this thread.
