I tested 2 exact same strategies and one fired signals and the other did not.
has anyone experienced this type of thing ?

Hello shanemcdonald,
Do the charts have exactly the same setup (data range, sessions)?
Is the first bar on both charts the same?
Are you using the prebuilt signals or have you modified them?
What are the signals added to both charts? Please attach screenshots (Format->Signals).
Are the orders not generated at all by the left chart? Please go to File->New->Order and Position tracker window->Orders tab to check it.

here is the other
Although I copied one chart to create the other with exact same settings, I now see that the first bars do not line up. The start of the bars is quite different.
The signals have not been altered, they are default.
Since I restarted MC, I cannot check the chart to see if signals were fired in position tracker.
The strategy performance report did show nothing, it was blank.

All signals added to the same chart for a single strategy. There is a different set of signals added to your charts, the signals have different input values. The data on the charts is different as well. That is expected that the strategies will behave differently in such case.

on the first chart, the keltner LE and SE did not fire at all. The Keltner settings are the same on both.
You can see the price closed above and below the keltner channel.
The same Keltner settings fired on the other.
Why would the data be different when both have same settings for the instrument ?
