Daily data from 2 instruments creates odd spacing

Postby MidKnight » 13 Nov 2013

Hi there,

I don't understand why this is happening. I'm trying to chart 2 instruments that both trade in the same timezone but have different session times. One of the symbols is the futures, the other is a cash index - that is why they have different session times.

Both the daily bars show the date stamp but the bars do not line up.

Hello MidKnight,

In MultiCharts the bars on the chart are aligned by time.
If bar closing time is different - the bars will not be on the same line.
