When I use rithmic, there is no historical tick data, which interferes with automated signals that are on a tick or point chart.
How can I save the historical tick data as it comes in from the live feed ?
As it is now, after shutting down on the weekend, there is no historical tick data when I re-open a chart after restarting.
On the time based charts, it does not happen.
Any one have experience with rithmic ?
thanks

Re: saving data
Check your Data Server Mode settings. How can I save the historical tick data as it comes in from the live feed ?
FYI, Rithmic's historical tick data is limited to the current session, while minutes aren't (source), which explains why this does not happen on time based charts. How can I save the historical tick data as it comes in from the live feed ?

Re: saving data
Data that was received in MultiCharts is stored in cache during MC working session. When you close MultiCharts, QuoteManager and Portfolio backtester - all data that is still in the cache is saved to the local database.
You can plot the data you need on the chart, it will be saved to the database. Or you can utilize the "Collect RT data w/o plotting" option of Quotemanager to collect the data you need.
