automatic restart

Since installing the latest update I have been having MC occasionally doing some kind of update that requires a restart. If I am not watching the screen it restarts automatically. I run another charting program (old TS) side by side with MC and both run fine on my E-Signal data. But this morning while I was not looking MC did one of these auto restarts 15 minutes after markets opened resulting in loss of data and signals. How can I make MC NOT DO THIS. I do not want it taking over my computer this way. I never want automatic shut downs. It messes up everything for me. This is not a crash or conflict with the other program. I have seen the prompts from the MC software. Any suggestions to allow me to stop the automatic restarts.

There is no "automatic restart" functionality in MultiCharts. Please make sure there are no background applications running in your system that can do that.
