UpTick / DnTick Calculations
How does MultiCharts calculate UpTick / DnTick. I know an UpTick is all the volume traded after the market moves up, and vice versa for the DnTick. But is this exactly how MC is calculating this? So in any study when I reference UpTick / DnTick I want to be sure the calculations are accurate, so what I am seeing is true.

UpTicks - An up tick is a tick with the price higher then the preceding tick, and up volume is the volume traded on up ticks.
DownTicks - Returns the total number of Down ticks for the current bar if Build Volume On is set to Tick Count. Returns the total Down volume for the current bar if Build Volume On is set to Trade Volume.
UpTicks - An up tick is a tick with the price higher then the preceding tick, and up volume is the volume traded on up ticks.
DownTicks - Returns the total number of Down ticks for the current bar if Build Volume On is set to Tick Count. Returns the total Down volume for the current bar if Build Volume On is set to Trade Volume.
