Multicharts for TWS, IB Gateway?

Is it possible, or is there any plans on making it possible, to use the Multicharts for TWS (i.e. the MC version that starts from within the TWS) together with IB gateway?
I am asking in order to find a way to avoid the daily re-initialization that is necessary with TWS.

Do you mean the IB daily server re-boot? It affects both the TWS and the gateway.

or do you mean the TWS forced daily auto-logout?
There is a workaround for that. Google for twsstart.


ps. IIRC, MultiCharts can connect to IB using the gateway.

That is possible to run MultiCharts for TWS with IB Gateway. You will need to specify the MultiCharts for TWS port (7496) in IB Gateway (Configure->Settings->API->Settings) and also manually start MultiCharts for TWS from the installation directory.
