Forex backtesting data

Postby andywill » 26 May 2014

Hello,

in various threads and posts you asked about reliable backtesting data for forex.

Here is a nice link, it is absolutely free and one of the best sources I found :

http://truefx.com

Sincerely,
Andy

Truefx is one of the better ones, but do not attempt anything other than swing strategies with data suppliers other than your broker.

Here is another reliable ressource of historical data you can have for backtesting purposes.

From the exchange, but not free of charge :

http://www.tmx.com/en/data/products_ser ... hange.html

These are data from GAIN Capital (OEC broker here in Multicharts) and HotspotFX.

Sincerely,
Andy
