Multicharts TWS version data limitation

Multicharts TWS version data limitation
IA TWS limits historical data for daily bars to one year. This is rather limiting for back testing on daily bars. Also Multicharts-TWS does not have a quote manager. Is there any way to add historical data from a different vendor to do backtesting without the Quote manager?

Hello,
By default IB accounts have access to 1 year of historical data through API connection.
That is possible to extend the amount of provided historical data (up to 5 years).
Please contact IB directly to setup your account for extended historical data through API.
MultiCharts for TWS works only with Interactive Brokers data provider. If you want to have QuoteManager and use a different data provider you need to use the full version of MultiCharts.
