Hello,
when i do a StopLimit order and attach a StopLoss as an exit strategy, the StopLoss disappears every time i restart MC. Why doesnt MC recognize the StopLoss orders? Isnt it possible to attach the StopLoss to my StopLimit order and routing it together to the TWS?
Regards
Lukas

Hello Lukas,
This happens when OCO group is emulated on MultiCharts side. Please go to File->TWS Broker settings->Settings->make sure "Use native OCO group" is enabled.

Does StopLoss order remain at broker when you disconnect the TWS broker profile in MC or close MC?

Only the STL Order is routed to the TWS, the SL is not transfered to the TWS. There ist only a semi transparent StopLoss icon in MC but no order. This icon also disappears when i restart MC.

The StopLoss order is not sent to the broker (transparent) because your entry order is a pending order that is not yet filled. That is expected behavior. Once the entry order is filled - the StopLoss order will be sent to the broker and will remain active even if you close MultiCharts (only when native OCO group is used).
