Re: MULTICHARTS .NET 9.0 BETA 3
Man, talk about an error/warning.
Never saw such huge warning.
I already sent my longs. Have no idea what is happening here but it seems the TPO study is somehow messing up MC because it's making it non responsive.
All seems working fine till Friday.

Whatever happened yesterday it seems it was fixed by turning off the computer since this morning, when I turned it on and opened MC, the workspaces opened fine.Man, talk about an error/warning.

Hello arnie,
It looks like StudyServer.NET.exe was not finished after the previous session.

Re: MULTICHARTS .NET 9.0 BETA 3
It just got a new error when I changed symbols with the TPO study on.
Is this related to the same thing?

arnie, it looks like a different issue. Please send me the workspace and study you are using.
Did you just change the instrument on the chart to get the errors generated?

Re: MULTICHARTS .NET 9.0 BETA 3
arnie, we have analyzed the provided information. This behavior is correct and expected. It is related to the Windows OS peculiarities:
MultiCharts .NET creates a toolbar in the main thread. When the instrument is changed - in the main calculation thread Break is called for the study, while the study at this moment tries to modify the toolbar. In Windows UI objects can be modified from the main thread only. Main thread waits while the study will Break. In order to avoid a deadlock we need to wait for some time (2 seconds as specified in the alert) and turn off the study.
